  • I hold a home warranty with American Home Shield, first mistake... My water heater went out on May 22, Monday. I called AHS and they promptly assigned me a service contractor AMA Air. I have been tortured with their irresponsible, unprofessional and incompetent company for 17 days now. I was told by AHS that I had to remain with them until the job was complete....On the 17th day they finally delivered my water heater(which was covered by a 10 year warranty anyway).The guy who delivered it couldn't even lift it!! He had no tools,no lift, and no idea!! I finally lifted it myself and I'm an old lady!!! I have pages of documentation of this nightmare which I'm sending to the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you are unfortunate enough to have a home warranty with AHS, be sure and refuse service from these people!!! Even one of their receptionists needs to improve her customer service skills!!
