  • We decided it was time to purchase my son his first car as he is a senior this year and will be off to college next year. We were looking for something gently used and that would be reliable. We found exactly what we wanted through our insurance carrier's car finder feature, which was at a dealership I had no knowledge about. I trust my carrier immensely, so proceeded with contacting the dealer to schedule an appointment to go look at the car. By 9:30 am, I had received an email from the salesperson who had been assigned to us, Kathi, AND an email form the General Manger, Sam, both of them expressing how glad they were that we had contacted them and showed interest in one of their vehicles. Knowing that both of these were general, pre-fab emails, I did respond to them just as a courtesy. Within a half an hour, I had personal replies from both of them. For me, that was very welcome. They had set a customer service bar high, and I now had high expectations of our pending visit to the dealership. When we got there, I asked for Kathi, and was informed she was gone for the day. Uh-oh. I gave the receptionist, who was actually the Sales Manager, my name and was quickly informed that Kathi had to leave on a family emergency, but that a teammate had been fully briefed on the vehicle we were there to look at and that we were pre-approved through our bank (also our carrier). We were introduced to Juan. Before we went out to look at the car, Sam, the GM, came out and introduced himself and expressed his gratitude for us coming by. Juan was amazing. Period. He knew the vehicle we were purchasing inside and out, and it wasn't a Buick OR a GMC. He know all the in's and out's of the vehicle, went thru the vehicle with my son front to back, and helped him set up the Bluetooth and radio. He was awesome! If it ended here, I would have been happy. But wait, there's more!! We did make our purchase here and we were very happy with the level of service we were given. It was top tier start to finish. Our loan officer was Dylan, and he was exceptional. But what impressed me more than our visit and purchase, was the immediate assistance we received a couple of days later. The TMPS light came on (tire pressure light) and after checking all of the tires and then driving 30 miles, we couldn't get the light to reset. So I had my son call Juan. I don't know if Juan just randomly knew the answer, or if he researched it first before calling my son back, but he spoke to my son, and walked him through doing a reset which took care of the light. Either way, he was very helpful and he made sure my son didn't have any additional questions or concerns. We are VERY happy with our purchase, and are EXTREMELY pleased with our experience at AutoNation Buick GMC of West Sahara. We highly recommend!
