  • My cats are my life so when someone doesn't care and messes with that it's a problem. I looked up a Cat Hospital because the website said it specializes in vomiting and kitty care, it also stated that they could tell you what you needed without doing too much. I took my 9 month old kitten Yoshi to this cat hospital because I thought he would get the best care possible but boy was I mistaken. When you walk in it's nice. Pictures of rescued kittens and the receptionist, Gabby, was pleasant and showed us to one of the rooms. We waited about an hour after our appointment time because the "doctor" was running behind with the previous appointment. He comes in and weights our cat. Doesn't say if it's good or not but you know whatever maybe it's not important. I tell him he has a slight ear infection in his right ear and he says he can flush it and then he did nothing about it. He feels the stomach but feels nothing but says he has a slight fever. He left and a lady came in with a laundry list of all the tests and X-rays that the "doctor" recommended and it came to about $400 with the X-ray along being $200. While me and my boyfriend were talking about it we didn't think the X-ray was necessary and the nurse said to us "If you don't get the X-ray your cat could die" so what could we do. We said do it. And they took our Yoshi to a back room where we could not go and did everything to him in less than a half an hour. She brought him back in and he wasn't wide eyed or scared and he didn't have the signature lump when they give fluids to make sure they don't get dehydrated. I didn't think of it at the time because I just wanted him better and I've always trusted doctors. Anyway. The "doctor" says to feed him after an hour and he should be golden. We gave him all the medicine and he'll be fine. I asked if he needed a prescription and he was like no we gave him the shots he's good. We go home and wait 3 hours because better safe than sorry. I feed Yoshi like two bites of food and not even 5 minutes later he throws it up. We call the place back and tell them that $400 has done nothing to make our cat better and what do they suggest more X-rays, blood work and keeping him overnight. And we asked if that didn't work what was next and they couldn't give an answer they wanted us to pay $500 more for nothing. Don't say you specialize in something if all you're going to do is that darts and see what sticks. I'm sure this place is a great hotel and a great place to get stray cats, but for the hospital part you are better of going to petsmart at least some of them know what they are talking about. If you love your cat please do not go here and go thru what I did. If you just need a check up sure, but anything more seriously please stay away if you want your cat to get better and stay alive.
