This was everything I had hoped for & more. I had always passed by the original HH in San Diego and saw the never-ending long lines to be seated, so this was my first time delving into the deliciousness that is Hash House. The myriad of flavors combined with the plethora of options left me engorged and satisfied.
As a party of 4, we only needed 3 entrees to more than fill us up.
*Chicken & Waffles rivals Roscoe's thanks to the homemade soy sauce.
*Pub Crawl had very savory corned beef that is cured on site.
*Pecan French Toast with fried banana was almost too sweet. Almost.
Oh, and the Bloody Mary was spicy, which I appreciate greatly. It comes with bacon, tomato and lettuce at the top of the cup. Strange way to prepare it, but "you had me at bacon."
Great service, too. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations.
