  • Earl, my toddler and I arrived 10 minutes before noon on a Sunday and while we were waiting outside, we took a picture of our toddler in front of the crayons art piece. Isabella was already posing so we know this will be a fun experience for her. When I got to the front desk, I pulled up my phone and recite my intro. The front desk person has no clue what I was referring to so I politely suggested to inquire with mgmt. on duty. He disappeared for a bit and came back and let me know that he does not have the list but if I could go ahead and write down my name and my guest names. I complied and did what was asked, got our hand-stamped, and went on to our great adventure up in Level 2 as water world on Level 1 was temp closed for maintenance. We all had a blast playing with music (i.e. disco jockeying, laser lightshow, exploring various instruments, etc) on level 2. There is a super cute area called eco-city where kids can be a construction worker, teller, pilot, smoothie specialist, cashier at Smith's...so adorable. My little one loves the shopping aspect at Smiths. We then moved on the Level 3. Both Earl and Isabella were coloring while I was making arts and crafts at a nearby table. We spent a good amount of time here. Then we went down to level 1...water works. Isabella had a blast playing the water. She didn't want to leave and had to negotiate with her. We did a final stop at the toddlers area where she got to play with volcanoes and glued tiny balled up red, pink and white tissue paper onto a paper tree, in honor of the Japanese blossom season. Toddler and parents enjoyed the Children's Discovery museum alike (speaking from experience here), and with an annual membership of $149 for a family of three, we will definitely sign up. A big thank you to Taylor for scoring this awesome event for Yelp elites, and Children's Discovery museum. My toddler fell asleep afterwards, allowing Earl and I have to a peaceful lunch.
