  • Small but fun! We just moved back to AZ from Northern NV & we dearly missed the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum. Since we purchased the Traveling Membership, we decided to give the ACM Reciprocal program a try & visit AMY...free admission, free shaded parking, free air-conditioning= how could you go wrong on a Sunday afternoon? Loaded up our 28 month old twins & headed for Mesa. As other reviewers mentioned there are two sides- Artville is for the 4 & under kiddies & where we sent most of our time. Large foam blocks to build & play with, Rody bouncing toys, a reading room, mini kitchen with all the necessities (including aprons) & veggie & fruit stand which Velcro to wall trees, art room, performance theater & a under 2 mirrored crawling area! The exhibit side was hit or miss but our boys loved the veterinarian area which was complete with life sized stuffed dogs, lab coats, stethoscopes, lens free glasses and more! :) We were there for almost 3 hours...tantrum free!! Fun place to check out & let kids, be kids!! :)
