  • The worst nail salon experience I've had. Unfortunately I took a little girl there for her first mani/pedi all because I heard they had a cute Cinderella chair. Do NOT bring children here. Although I made an appointment they did not honor it. They did seat us but did not have enough people to work on us so we had to wait while one person did everything for both of us. However, that isn't why they received the rating they did. The lady hardly said 5 sentences to either of us the whole time we were there. When she did speak, she was very rude even to the very well-behaved little 8 year old girl. She completed my pedicure and moved on to the little girl, but never put any lotion on my feet. So I asked her if I was supposed to get lotion and she said "You didn't want a massage you don't get lotion." I said "Okay" and they she grabbed a bottle of lotion squirted it on my legs and said, "Rub it in yourself." I looked around and even her coworkers seemed surprised by her rudeness. Then, she snapped at the little girl to bend her knees a couple times and for "messing up her polish" even though she didn't. She did a sloppy job and blamed it on her. Her rudeness was very upsetting to me. If I hadn't been with the little girl I was mentoring, I would have said something - but I was silent. She asked for a flower on her toes. I don't know what kind of flower she was attempting to draw but to me it looks like a bunch of uneven dots - horrible paint job. (I don't believe that many of the photos posted in these reviews are really from the salon. They don't even have those kind of tables or chairs showing in many of them.) Then she told the little girl to pick out a jewel color so she picked blue. She said "Blue wont show up. Pick another." The little girl looked at me and said "Can I pick red?" I told her "Sure." She was too afraid to ask the lady. I feel SO bad that I picked this salon for either of us, but especially for her first experience. The one star rating is for the new looking chairs- the only pleasant part of this experience. I've read the other reviews and I have no idea who helped these people but it was obviously not the owner lady. She needs to retire and relax a little.
