| - I will give this so called salon 0 stars. I was in Henderson to hang with a friend when we decided to get pedis. I walked in today at 4:30 pm and left at 7:15. I stated I needed a gel pedicure but did not have time for my nails to get done. I was with a friend and did not want her to wait for me to have 2 services. They stated they would do the services at the same time with no problem. I needed white tips and asked for a pink top coat as many other salons have done before.
After sitting for 20-25 minutes, they started on my pedicure. After 45 minutes and my friend almost done now with her pedicure, the man came over to start my nails. He was rough and rude. When I asked him to fix the length and thickness of the acrylic he had attitude and became more rough. He did not clean underneath the nail to rid the extra acrylic, no cuticle oil, and the nails were uneven both in length and thickness when he said he was done. I never received the pink top coat as promised and he seemed to have missed a few steps in the nail process- as I have always had to put my hands in the UV dryer at least twice. My toes looked nice, but the effort to work on the calluses was less then 30 seconds per foot. There was no lotion applied, no massage- I was told that was extra. I paid 50 for this so called gel pedicure and thought the least they could do is put some lotion on my legs or feet? My friend got lotion on hers and got the basic as well??? Through out the majority of the service the man kept leaving to wait on other customers that came in after I did. The lady also kept getting up and coming back to me. When I asked for management, they stated that I was still responsible for paying. I stated I was fine with the over priced pedi, but continued to complain about the nails. They told me that I could stay and have them soaked off and they could fix them but I had now been at the salon for two hours and 15 minutes. Another hour?? Not a single apology! He then grabbed my hand and tried to cut my nails off of me. Who does this????
I was not about to leave with jagged cut nails after sitting for this long and tried to explain calmly that I had complained, and stated everything I did not like about the nails throughout the service, and that I was promised that services would be rendered simultaneously. Finally, I was offered a discounted price, and after agreeing to the discounted price of 70, I wanted to switch my card payment onto a different credit card in case of fraud or further problems with this salon, I would be covered. At this point, the man REFUSED TO GIVE ME BACK MY CREDIT CARD! Although I could have cancelled the card, I did not want something for free. I was willing to pay for the pedi, even though I wasn't completely satisfied with it either. So even though we agreed on 70 dollars- total, with partial payment for the full set, he still wouldn't let me have my card back???? Looking over the price list, I paid a whole 10 dollars less than the original price? Big WOW!
The poor police of Henderson had to be called. What a waste of the officer's time. When all was said and done, the officer made the man give me back my card. When he rang the service through, he still tried to charge me a different price, which in turn had to be voided and reentered. I will update my post to let you know how long these less than par nails last. Pink Nail salon in Centennial has been voted best of several years in a row. There is a reason- places like this! You may have to make an appointment because they are so busy, but they definitely care about customer satisfaction and quality! For 10 dollars, this man has lost 2 people's business and hopefully a few others that read this review. CRAZY!!!!
