I have lived in Brampton just about eight years. I have been to the City Hall building many times now, and it's a pretty great place. Not only dies the beautiful atrium host events like The FOLD's recent book fair, but there are other things for residents, too. The Centre for Economic Development is a great resource that helps small businesses/new businesses for example.
Not only is it useful and attractive inside, but the grounds are full of sculpture and monuments, and it's right across from Gage Park, our lovely downtown Brampton park with the iconic gazebo.
So this is a City Hall and not the big destination, I am sure, but if you're wandering through downtown give it a look. Certainly if you live here you should become familiar with it!
