We were in Vegas for July 4 weekend.
Purchased 2 special tickets for the high roller at a super special price of $100. We were to board the high roller at 9PM for a 30 min ride to see the fireworks at the strip.
1. They charged our credit card twice and it's been a huge pain trying to reach someone who can help us. We had to go through our AMEX to get one of the charges taken off since no representative at high roller seems to know what to do.
2. Pure chaos when we were trying to board the high roller. We were in long lines and people kept cutting in and pushing. We felt like cattle herded into one entrance at one point. No one knew what was going on and no one was there to regulate the guests.
3. We did not board the high roller until PAST 930PM which means we missed the entire fire work show Caesar's palace had at 9PM. This was due to lack of organization.
Thankfully, the High roller had their own fire works show, so we did get to see fireworks for July 4th. However, we didn't have to purchase super expensive tickets to see that. We could have bought regular priced tickets (still expensive at $70/2 tickets).
Was not amazed by the high roller. Sure great views of vegas, but you can get those views free of charge at Stratosphere or a high rise restaurant with a view.
Will not be spending money here again.
