It's not a hidden gem by any means. It's right there near the darn strip, but it's the place to go if you want a no thrills Vegas experience. Dollar beers and cheap drinks. Unless you gamble at the poker bar, then drinks are fee (be sure to tip).
There are no fancy voucher machines once you're ready to cash out your fortune. You either hand your voucher to the bartender or take it over to the cashier cage (if someone is on duty). You feel a little dirty coming here, and feel even dirtier when you leave. This is the type of place that you shouldn't Yelp (not even sure why I'm doing it), but it's a place that yoo have to check out.
I don't even drink beer, but I do when I come here. It's good for a break from the classic Vegas crowd. I believe it's where a lot of regulars come when they want a break from the classic Vegas crowd as well. People seem to know each other, and seem to scout out the tourists (like me).
But I don't mind. It is no frills, easy to find, and I know what to expect when I come here. The bartenders are nice and know not to BS me. I dig it.
