| - What a disappointment this place was. The dentist came highly recommended by my daughter so I was surprised how awful this experience was.
The wait is horrendously long and when you finally get to the exam room you'll understand why. She had at least three other patients in rooms (the rooms are open) in various stages of dental work. There were probably more but only three I could see from my room. There are TVs in every room, each blaring a different station, including the room across from me with a kid in it and Dora on full volume.
Chaotic? Beyond. I don't know about you, but noise assault isn't something I'm accustomed to when I visit a dentist. The cacophony was deafening.
Dr. Mohammadi stopped by room only to bark out an order to the assistant to take my blood pressure and to do so on all patients before she sees them. The one and only blood pressure cuff in the place didn't work but boy did this poor girl keep trying -- for about 15 minutes she tried over and over and over.
Finally, I decided to go sit in the waiting room to wait for the doctor because the noise was getting to me. She walked in just then, offering excuses about how the tvs calm people down. Sure they do, doc. That's why I'm jumping out of my skin. How about you cough up the money for some ear buds for your patients so the rest of us can relax?
I told her that I'd been having extreme facial and head pain for more than three weeks, that it was so bad I went to the emergency room and they did a cat scan and found a huge abcess in one tooth and that I needed it fixed immediately because the pain is so bad I can't sleep at night.
She asked me two questions: "How often do you brush your teeth?" and "Do you brush your tongue?"
SERIOUSLY? Lady, I am dying of pain and you ask me if I brush my freaking tongue?????
Obviously, she didn't hear me, she didn't :LISTEN to my dental complaint and just launched into her normal patter. She is cold, seems to be uncaring and condescending.
I can't speak to her skill as a dentist because I left. There are too many dentists in Henderson to waste your time going here. Choose another -- lots of good reviews for docs in Henderson right here on Yelp.
