| - Tuesday the 28th, 10 AM, at least 30 minutes wait for inside seating,m or immediate outside. We sat outside at a table with an umbrella. Service was almost nonexistent, first water, than nothing, then a server who took our drink orders. Two coffees. Drinks arrived 10 minutes later, and we later had to ask for refills. Eventually our order was taken, food arrived about 15 minutes later. Wife ordered breakfast tacos that indicated on the menu they contained scrambled eggs. I ordered an bacon and Swiss omelet and subistuted a cinnamon roll pancake in lieu of toast. When the food arrived there were no visible scrambled eggs in any of the 3 tacos. My omelet was swimming in a pool of some liquid, butter? Cooking oil? The grease from the bacon? Not very appetizing. Also on the plate was a hockey puck sized serving of hash browns. The omelet was tasty, but not exceptional. The hashbrowns were grilled inside a.metal ring and aside from the crunchy browned top the rest were essentially warmed shredded potato, and a far cry from my expectation of hashbrowns. The large pancake came on a separate place and it was surrounded in a moat of what I suspect was the cinnamon roll glaze. The pancake was topped with pecan bits, some glaze and a dollop of cinnamon sugar. To recreate the cinnamon roll one had to re-glaze the pancake mixing in the cinnamon sugar. The pancake was OK, a bit sweet but that was to be expected. Almost at the conclusion of our meal, A coffee refill arrived as did a fresh glass of water. My wife got neither apparently she had to ask as I did, silly of me to think they would have offered to refills to both of us. The food was hot, it was filling but the totality of the experience was such this 1st visit for us will be our last. Our breakfast consisting of three small eggless tacos, an omelet, a hash brown puck, a flavored pancake plus two coffees came to twenty- nine dollars and change. The pancake BTW was ala carte and was listed on the menu for $5.00, although it was only 3.50 as a suistution for toast. We can now say been there done that. This review was submitted in reaction to my wife's having pointed out how horrible her meal was and this is the first time in years she has said anything negative about any dining experience.
