  • After reading all of these fabulous reviews and a tip from my sister, I decided to have my car worked on here. I told them my 99 Camry did not pass its smog test and made an appointment for service. After inspecting my car they told me I needed my rollover valve replaced. It would cost approximately 332.00 and take 2 1/2 hours. I dropped off my car and about an hour later they called and told me that I needed to replace my Fuel Pump Housing. I approved the repair (additional 75.00) and then came back before closing to get my car. Kevin told me to take my car right away to Jiffy Lube down the street and get it smogged. Unfortunately they had no smog tech's there so I had to pass on that. I needed gas before going home so I went to fill up, and then the horror began. When I went to put the gas into my car it spilled out all over the place dousing me with gasoline all over my shoes and bottom of my jeans. I was horrified, and outraged they would release my car without checking their repair of the fuel pump. I was really afraid when I started up my car that I would start a fire or explosion but it was ok. I called the shop several times but they were already closed, and do not have an answering machine. I went there the next day when they opened and they offered me nothing in return for their mistake but an apology. No compensation for the shoes that were ruined, the wasted gas, nothing. They forgot to hook up the fuel line, unbelievable!! They did quickly fix the car and I got out of that place as quickly as I could. The tech told me to drive my car before getting it smogged not like Kevin told me the night before. What they failed to tell me was how much I needed to drive the car. I drove around all day and then had it smogged, but after 400.00 in repairs it still did not pass. Then I found out the truth from the smog tech that I have to drive my car at least 75 to maybe several hundred miles to restore the history on my cars computer before it will pass. So it goes and I really can't say anything good about Japanese Car Service
