I'm at such odds with this coffee shop. I used to love it but now that there's more options in the hood I think they need to step up their game. I really do want them to succeed which is why I'm going to offer some advice...
The quality of the coffee is mediocre at best. The price as almost doubled in the past few years since the newest owners took over. If you're going to gouge us at $2.80 for a cup of coffee the least you can do is serve it to us and find a better coffee distributor...how about Pilot coffee? They're great, local and way better than what you're serving up.
Bagels! If the main food on your menu are bagels you should make sure they're the best quality. Fresh not frozen. People would flock to grinder if you guys brought in Gryfes! And the cream cheese...get rid of that philly knock off stuff. Western cream cheese would be a good start...something fresh not with a shelf life of 20 years!
Baked goods....not all leslievillians are into vegan cookies and vegan loafs. Can we please get in some normal, full fat goodies as well?
I've spoken to other Neighbour's in the area who agree with me on these suggestions. We do love the idea our our little coffee shop on the corner. You guys have a great patio and we love the employees but sometimes that's just not enough. We hope to see some changes in the near future!
