TDS Telecom has provided my land line and internet service for the past seven years.
The call quality of the land line is great, much better than what I experienced with Charter Communications. I've never had any service interruptions either (unlike Charter).
Internet quality has been good for the most part. I had some problems with a wireless router for a while, but the customer service staff did a great job of addressing the issue. Two modems later (on their dime), everything is hunky dory. Again, my experience with them is significantly better than when I was with Charter.
I've always been pleased with my interactions with the customer service staff. Wait times can be long on occasion (thank goodness for speaker phones), but I always get connected to a live customer service rap that works hard to resolve the issue. And if they can't help, I get referred to someone who can. Not to beat a dead horse here, but again, their customer service responsiveness is head and shoulders above Charter.
When they send a rep to my house, they arrive on time and and are courteous.
I also appreciate their customer loyalty program. I have scored $60 of Amazon gift cards just for maintaining my service with them.
