I like the bread here better than the bread at Bread and Roses nearby. It's a great little bakery, really close to me and their bread is never stale, always super fluffy and great for french toast.
However, I've tried their cookies and they're not the freshest. I'm a big fan of soft cookies and I have yet to experience that when buying them from Hot Oven.
Also, to avoid confusion, this bakery used to be called Sunglow. But after a much needed renovation (it's much cleaner and organized in there now) they renamed the place Hot Oven.
My favourite thing about Hot Oven are its big front windows displaying their wares. Mmmmm. That plus the wafts of fresh bread smell that hang around the corner of Runnymede and Bloor because of it. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
