Came here three times and overall very satisfied with the matcha soft serve. I've tried matcha soft serve at a few other places but none is as strong and creamy as this place.
When I visited in March for my first time, I got the shiratama sundae (photo: second from left) but found the red bean paste too sweet..I haven't tried it since though). My friend ordered the hojicha milk float with mix soft (photo: first from left) serve and it was AMAZING.
The other two times I came I ordered nothing else but this hojicha milk float with matcha soft serve. Hojicha carries a toasty, roasted tea flavor. This flavor is more popular in East Asia but I'm glad it's being introduced here in Toronto. Not everyone will like this unique taste but I personally LOVE the strong taste of roasted tea. It almost tastes like the nutty burnt rice you find at the bottom of a hot stone bowl. The milk float does contain a bit of crushed ice but just enough so that it doesn't feel like you're drinking ice only. It's mainly the rich tea + milk and creamy ice cream. I'd highly recommend trying their hojicha milk float!!
