  • Friday Twilight Tea time @ Windsor Arms! It is my first time here so very excited. The Tea room is beautifully decor in purple theme. Loved the purple and white trimmings on the ceiling, white fireplace and white mirror. We were one of the first ones at the Twilight time seating. It's been over a few months since my friend and I have met up so we were too busy catching up then looking at the tea selection. I ended up picking the Black & Blue - blueberry + organic black tea. The food selection today includes: fresh lemon & blueberry scones with strawberry, black berry jam and devon cream; Goat cheese and caramelized shallot tart. Sandwiches include cucumber with sun dried tomato & dill cream cheese; smoked salmon and wasabi sour cream with salmon caviar; grilled chicken and apple citrus mayonnaise. Mushroom & spinach quiche and Windsor Arms petit fours. From the looks of it, it looks like there was not a lot of food but it is filling! We were stuffed at the end, it really was our dinner. The scones were fresh and it tasted really good with the fresh jam. Of the sandwiches, I liked the salmon & wasabi sour cream the best. The petit fours included red velvet cupcake, homemade rose marshmallow, cheesecake and coffee pastry. Yum! A good start to the weekend.
