  • On Dec. 13, 2013, I ordered a pair of glasses (frame + lenses) from Minh Chau Optical. They said it would take about 2 weeks to receive, but they could rush the order for a week if I wanted them to. I told them that it was fine and to take their time, I will pick them up the last week of December. The end of December came, I went to their store, and the glasses weren't ready. Apparently there was a back order due to the holiday season, but they will be ready by Jan. 15, 2014 at the latest. Jan. 17 came so I asked them where my glasses were, and they told me there was another back order so it would take another month to arrive. Today is now Feb. 5, and I received an email from them saying that the eyeglass company no longer makes the frame that I originally ordered. What was supposed to be 2 weeks has now become 8 weeks with a cancelled eyeglass order. Edit: Feb. 7 - in the midst of resolution Edit: Feb. 26 - I had moved to USA and Minh Chau shipped the glasses all the way here for me. Thanks to Sonny.
