Town Crier Pub. Sounds like your typical British pub right? Wrraaang....
This place serves typical Belgian food (among other things) with LOTS of delicious Belgian beers. You can even get some hard to find ones like Westvleteren XXII (rated one of the best beers in the world). TCP is the only place I've been able to find it in Toronto except for that brief time before xmas a few years ago when the LCBO brought in like 600 cases to Ontario... Otherwise, you usually can only buy it at the Saint-Sixtus in Belgium.
When I was in Europe a few weeks ago I came across Maredsous 8 and fell in love. Town Crier has it on tap!
The Town Crier is a great place to have a fantastic meal and savour so many great beers right in the heart of the entertainment district. They are conveniently located near theatres, comedy clubs, bars and other fun place to go after a good meal.
