| - Just spent three nights this past weekend (July 14/15/16, 2016) at this really nice hotel/resort. Room was very comfy, quiet and easy to get to. Check in staff was great and informative and the couples massage was terrific, so good in fact, I fell asleep - PERFECT!
The only glitch was a communication problem between housekeeping and front desk. After the massage on Friday, we came back to the room and promptly fell asleep after putting the Do Not Disturb sign up.
Naturally, we didn't have any fresh towels because we slept through housekeeping's times but got towels from the front desk when we returned from dinner in the evening. We left for the day early Saturday morning and I rang down to the front desk to say we're out all day, please have housekeeping make up our room. However, when we got back in the evening, fresh towels were put into the bathroom, but nothing else was done in the room, bed was still unmade, trash not taken away and no fresh drinking glasses provided. We had clean towels though, strangely enough arranged nicely.
I called down to the front desk and was met with an understandably confused desk clerk. I asked if anything could be done for us and without hesitation he apologized and offered to give us a 50% discount on the room for our last night. Of course I gladly accepted his apology and the financial incentive. This was true customer service and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I will gladly stay there again!!!
