It's like Goodwill, just not quite as good. Of course it's clean, so that was nice. They opened very recently though and I suspect that will change as they experience more traffic, although I could be wrong.
My main issue is the fact that they have horrible organization. Everything is straightened up, but when I went to look at shoes they don't even have them organized by size. I refuse to look through a 15-20 ft wall of shoes that just hoping that when I find something I like, it'll be in my size.
The books had no order as well, and although Goodwill's book organization leaves a bit to be desired it is still superior to Epic. They at least will put cook books in one spot and children's in another. At Epic they could even organize them by price since they range in price, but they don't seem to care at all.
They had a lot of obviously broken and unusable items in the knick knack section, more than I usually see at Goodwill. They actually had a broken walker, which I thought was ridiculous considering someone could seriously hurt them selves if they didn't realize one side was unable to lock into place when they went to try it.
The two women who were working would sporadically call out greeting and the discount of the day when people came in. They did not greet me despite having only one other customer in the store so I was not aware of any of the discounts until I heard them greet another customer. They did not seem interested in any of my concerns and I'm positive nothing will get passed on to someone who can actually do something about it.
The only reason I could ever see to come back would be to look at the clothing. That was the only thing organized as it should have been. I didn't see too much damaged clothing and the price was comparable to Goodwill/Savers.
All in all, I was very unimpressed. I expected better for a newly opened store.
