  • The fact that I have to force my boyfriend in to renting a car so we can travel to Loblaws up north should say enough. Rotting produce, empty shelves, poor variety; I only shop here if I have to. I come to get the basics and thats all. It's also seriously over priced and there seems to never be enough cash registers open. I've been trying to buy my produce from local markets or veggie/fruit stands. It's a hike to China town, Kenssignton or St Lawrence but well worth it to avoid this places produce. I wish we could get rid of grocery stores all together and start relying on local providers. We'd save a lot of waste and there would be accountability to what we're eating.
