I wanted to hate this place--I was only staying because it was literally the cheapest option for a conference I attended in March. I'll be brutally honest, I got what I paid for: the tiniest hotel room I've ever been in, with 4 single beds (2 lofted which both used the same moveable ladder for access), a shower barely big enough for one person, and not nearly enough room for all 4 people to hang their coats let alone store their luggage for 3 nights/4 days at a conference.
But the room was clean, it was cheap, and the location was to die for--I walked just a few blocks through Chinatown every day to get to the Convention Center, never questioned where I was going to eat for cheap (one can never beat prices in Chinatown), and how much time do you really spend in your room at a conference anyway?
It's a no-frills option for the person who needs a bed on a budget.
