| - BEYOND RUDE! This was the second time I went there. First time I had a young woman who really shouldn't be doing nails. They looked terrible! I think her name was Michelle but not positive since she never introduced herself. I went back today because I was in shopping center and went in for a fill in and pedicure. I got a young man. As I was getting pedicure, I asked if they used a micro plane to remove dead skin. He then tried to sell me on a deluxe pedicure that included Micro plane along with a paraffin wax and extra massage.
I told him I wanted a regular pedicure, along with removing the dead skin from my feet and that it shouldn't be extra! I wasn't there for just a polish change. He then in a snotty tone asked me if I ever had a paraffin wax treatment. I said yes and I don't need one now.
Michelle, by this time was sitting next to him and began talking in an Asian language, whispering and laughing. Trust me, it was me they were talking about!
Then he sat me at his nail table where he mostly stared out the window and while doing my nails. He then did not say one word, was rough and when he finished, he abruptly stood up, gave ticket to another employee and walked away without putting cuticle oil on. My fingers were dry from the acetone he used on my hands after the UV lite.
I don't care how bad of a day you're having, you decided to work in a customer service career, you are polite and accommodate your clients to the best of your ability. Smile, be friendly.
Because he actually did a good job technically, ( the only complaint I have is the clear gel he used overlapped onto my skin) . I left him over a 20% tip. He was watching from the back of shop, but did not come back for the tip. I threw tip on his table and left. Won't go back. Sadly this store doesn't realize that a person who comes every two weeks and spends $60+ for basic service is losing $1,520.00 each person a year. If he was my employee, he wouldn't be employed very long. Won't go back . So my question to the owner would be " just how many customers do you lose each year because of bad customer service? 5? 10? More? Just 10 people? You're losing $15,000 a year! I would be pissed if I was losing that much because of a snotty employee!
