Took my pup there for a recommended follow up consult after a visit with a local vet-- she was packing her right rear leg. At VetMed, specifically said I wanted to be present when the vet examined her-- "Oh, of course. Don't worry. Just taking her 'back' to get her vitals." 30 minutes later dog and vet returned-- exam completed. Ended up with over a $500 bill and ZERO results. She is now under the care of an excellent vet for a systemic issue, not bone related at all as VetMed diagnosed. To say I'm not happy with them is putting it mildly. Not only did it cost a small fortune for duplicate work, the "surgeon" missed the swelling in her other hock and both front elbows-- so four joints in total are swollen. I'm not a vet-- I missed it. But they ARE vets at VetMed. Missing swelling is unacceptable and bordering on incompetent. Two stars because they are so nice.
