On first entering, this place seems empty, especially in contrast to the cluttered Hippie place a couple doors down. There are no racks or tables in the shop which customers have to navigate around in tight walkways.
The shop is very neat, organized, and breezy -- full of herbs and teas for various ailments and conditions hanging on the wall. Some specialize in healing, boosting libido, aiding in relaxation, or lending toward what they refer to as a "legal high."
Prices here are reasonable. Bags of teas and herbs run between $7-30.
We were greeted by a nice woman who frequently commented on the sunny weather. We didn't feel pressured to buy anything (though we tried their $2 damiana lemon pops -- they were all right), and she was very happy to answer questions.
I'm actually surprised they don't have a shop like this in San Francisco or in the Venice Beach Boardwalk.
