I had Shawna do my hair a few weeks ago. I had partial highlights and a haircut. Everyone was very nice when I got there. The salon was a bit dirty but they also have white chairs so I told myself not to judge so harshly. But as I sat there for hours getting my hair done I can't help but say it really does need a good scrub.
Shawna dropped a comb on the floor and picked it up and used it gross! But again it was already done so what could I say really.
Once the highlights were done and my hair was washed my ears were full of water. I had no towel to use since she left them at the sink. I purposely wiped my ears several times in front of her to see if she'd offer a towel. Nope had to ask and got a wet towel handed to me to use that was left on my lap for my hair cut. My hair cut took so long that my hair dried twice. I showed Shawna pictures, explained in detail how I wanted it and showed her a coworker with the hair cut I wanted. Well needless to say I walked out of the salon with my entire right side of my head an inch shorter than the left. I had asked for an A line bob and left with a hot mess.
My highlights were great she did do a good job there and the owner while I was paying came up to me and said your highlights looked great. I agreed and waited for him to ask about my haircut but he never did.
When I left I had no idea it was as bad as it was I just thought it was longer than I wanted and was probably curling up funny from the blow dry. I have NEVER had a hair dresser cut my hair this uneven and never would've expected a professional to let me leave like this. Needless to say since the owner didn't say anything and Shawna let me leave this way saying to come back next week if it was still to long. I had no confidence that she could cut my hair correctly.
So I felt the only way to get the hair cut I had wanted and paid for was to go to another salon and pay again for the correct one. Thank god I did cause I had no problems at the new salon and was able to communicate easily the exact same way I did with Shawna to the new hairdresser and got the perfect cut I paid $155 to have Shawna give my partial highlights and a lopsided haircut. I would not recommend going here.
