  • At an average of $68 per night, including tax, it would be silly to complain about anything; especially, when you get a full kitchen stocked with utensils and countertop appliances, a separate bedroom with a king-size bed and a Jacuzzi for three, and a bathroom with a HUGE walk-in shower and double sinks - it's a small apartment, which makes it a HUGE hotel room; and it's clean right up until you deposit your own filth. Yes, the toilet paper feels like some type of cactus papyrus and the shampoo won't last more than a day or two, but that's common with just about all hotels and not something a quick trip to Safeway won't fix. Besides, if you're staying more than a day or two, you'll need to pick up some groceries anyway, so just grab some Charmin and a bottle of shampoo while you're at it. They call it a resort and I suppose that it is, but if it is, it's "resort" with small case, not "RESORT" in caps. That is, there's no pool slide for the kiddies, no steam room to recover from the lack of moisture in the desert air, no onsite coffee shop, no poolside massages, or ANY massages at all, and very little maid service for the rooms. What it is is timeshare apartments rented out under the Sheraton banner. So, as long as you know what it is and what to expect, it's fine. Nobody, except maybe a timeshare salesman, is going to remember your name or make you feel pampered, but you will have lots of space to roam inside your room, an exceptionally comfortable bed, free WiFi, and a great location to enjoy what Scottsdale has to offer - including crashing the "RESORTS" that you're not staying at to enjoy their pool slides and steam rooms.
