I loved me European Meat Market and bit my lip as I accepted the new and went inside to buy my red meats at Sanagan's (where the former European Meat Market was located).
While there has been no change to the layout (except the till which was a standalone desk in the middle of the floor), it is extremely pleasing and a step up from the previous tenant.
I lack expertise in red meats and had to ask the butcher several questions, after stating my intention. He was fantastic; he offered me a cut and recommended cooking procedure, that when I followed it at home, I cooked a tender, juicy steak. Delicious! He also explained how his ground beef came about.
There's no doubt that the meats offered here are of higher quality and in some cases, specialty meats (i.e. bison). This will be an experience because I will be coming back for more!
