I am not pleased with this place. You would think being on a main street would make it easy to find, but no. I was on Spadina at the address it would be at and I had difficulty finding it. 235 Spadina Avenue was an abandoned business. There were two more beside it. One had it's sign written in an Asian language. Nope, that wasn't the cupcake shop. Beside it? Well, THAT happens to be the cupcake shop, but good luck knowing it. Their sign-age is terrible. They seem to care more about advertising espresso and coffee. If you were across the street, I doubt you would be able to read the CutiePie Cupcakes & Co part of the sign. They have some kind of stickers on the sidewalk leading up to their door that are supposed to convey that they sell cupcakes and other stuff. What a joke. The shop is tiny. They had about 5 flavours of cupcakes when I went in. They didn't look appealing. I bought the Cotton Candy Princess cupcake. It was less than half the size of a cupcake from Prairie Girl Bakery and it costs $4.10!!! OUTRAGEOUS!! It was sooooo not worth it. This place doesn't seem to know what its identity is. If they have "cupcakes" in the name of their business, I expect to see a wide array of flavours of cupcakes. I do not understand why anyone would give this place a high rating. I will not return. There is nothing cute about this place.
