We called ABC Plumbing and Rooter as we could no longer get hot water in our bathroom shower. A plumber came out and replaced the cartridge that regulates the hot water in the bathroom shower faucet. After a shower, there was water in the bathroom and hallway. Initially we suspected the shower liner might not have been secure which may have caused the water leak. However a second shower in the bathroom (with a longer liner and attendance paid to its placement) produced water not only in the hallway, but also in the living room and in the bedroom closet that was adjacent to the shower stall. We contacted ABC Plumbing and Rooter and informed them that there was a leak. They sent out a restoration team. After several days of drying out and cutting the bottom 2 feet of dry wall out of part of the living room, the hallway and the closet, ABC sent out another plumber who found and repaired the leak. Unfortunately, ABC Plumbing is denying that they are the cause of the leak (then why send out a plumber and have him fix it without charging us) and they are refusing to pay for the restoration of the affected areas. The owner has been uncooperative and difficult to get in contact with and claims that the leak was pre-existing. This is most certainly not the case as we never had a water leak prior to his plumber "fixing" the valve. If we could give negative stars, we would.
