| - Hmmmm. I've driven past this place over 100 times, so I thought with the reviews it's received, I'd try it out. Not too impressed. I had the Super chicken burrito, free chips/salsa, and a can of Diet Coke. Without the chips being complementary, I would've given this place 2 stars.
The burrito wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Like others have said, it's HUGE. Then again, so are most other "taco shops" in Vegas. The difference here, is it was very tasteless. Everything blended in to a blah tasting mess of ingredients. No flavor in MY burrito.
Another complaint, is not that they only have cans of coke products(not fountain), but that they charge about $1.50 a can. That's frigen crazy. There could charge $.50-$.75 a can, and still make a profit. $1.50 is what you usually pay for unlimited fountain soda.
The chips were just ok. They have to be from a bag, and not made in restaurant. Most mexicans places in Vegas either make their own or serve mexican-restaurant style chips vs these Tostito's type chips.
Their salsa "bar" was good, and even though it had more options than Roberto's or Don's, I actually like Baja Fresh and Rubio's salsa and salsa selections WAY better.
All in all, I'm not saying I wouldn't eat here again, and will probably give it another shot to try out something else... but if it's the same again, I'd probably just drive 6ish blocks away to Roberto's from there on..
