  • Unfortunately I have to give Zada Jane a one star. I was so excited about experiencing this place after my friends had been texting me all morning to join them for brunch. Though they had finished by the time I arrived I still wanted to give the place a try. After reading the yelp reviews, looking at al the yummy Yelp photos I as totally in! After walking the Juneteenth festival I walked over and saw no one was sitting in the patio but there were LOTS of receipt books laying out from previous guest. {not good someone could have stolen these receipts and or cash if any were left. I use to work in finance bank fraud so my red flags went up}. I went inside to ask if they would be servicing the patio. The lady said yes and someone would be right with me, and that I could select and table I wanted. I did just that facing the festival. After waiting for 15minutes and no one coming out I decided to go inside to see what the hold up could be. Just as I was walking through the door a server comes running out. Apologizing that she was just heading out. I said it was ok, and told myself I would stay and order because I was extremely hungry. She provided me with a menu and a glass of water. I asked if she could give me about 4minutes to review the menu and I would be ready. I SPECIFICALLY asked for only 4minutes because I was so hungry and it had already taken 15minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Another 15 minutes go by and at that point I had enough. I left everything in the table including the untouched water and walked away. Not sure how long after that it took for them to notice I was gone but. I'm truly upset I didn't get to experience this place. The reviews in here are great, my friends swear by it and the $14 bottle of champagne for brunch, and how the servers know who they are as soon as they walk in and fills them with drinks. So unfortunate that I did not receive that same service.
