  • My 9 yr old daughter is wanting to start sewing pillows for shelter animals and someone recommended SAS to us to get cheap fabric by the pound. We went there today and, after over an hour of searching through the fabric per pound boxes and finding pieces that would fit the pillows, we went to weigh the fabric and check out. The store clerk rudely stated that they would not honor the per lb. price on more than half of our remnants (even though the pieces came from the price per pound boxes.) The lady said she would sell the remnants to us by the yard price because she thought the pieces were too good to be sold by the lb. My daughter left saying what a disappointment the store was and that the people were mean! Needless to say, we will not be back.
