Although Dr. Rojas may be a good doctor, I don't really know due to not having anything serious wrong with me, her office staff does not represent her well. Today was the second time I have had the pleasure to show up and they had not put my appointment on the schedule. This time it was a 3 month follow up to something that has me quite concerned. After being asked what it was for with a waiting room full of people, and then waiting 20 minutes I was told they were too full to see me. My options were to come back the same day at 1:30, only to be seen by a nurse practitioner for something that has me worried, or they could schedule me with the doctor but it would likely be a wait due to her busy schedule. They did see in my chart, once they looked to see what it was for, that someone had called to schedule the appointment but it was not entered on their schedule so there was no doubt where the mistake was. Never did someone say they were very sorry for the mistake or wasting my time etc. Needless to say, my schedule too is very full so I could not come back the same day and I did not want to see a NP for this. They were very proud of the fact that they fit me in next week, so I can once again work my schedule around theirs, to see the doctor. And wasn't it great that the girl proudly showed me that she wrote her name on my appointment sheet so I knew who made this appointment this time. Shocking they didn't fit me in since it was their mistake but seriously a little empathy might have helped the situation just a touch.
