| - My friends and I discovered this Green Grotto by accident when we were going to go to Go For Tea. It's pretty newly opened, and feels more spacious than its other locations, although we got there before the crowd.
I haven't been to the other Green Grotto locations for a while so I don't know how it compares to those, but this was was quite good! I had the Hokkaido Milk Tea (after asking what exactly that was), and it was creamy, rich and delicious.
They use the small tapioca pearls that come in varying sizes, which I'm not always a fan of, but I really liked it here. My friends also really liked their drinks. We were served freshly popped, complementary popcorn as well, which was a nice touch.
Our server was a little hard to communicate with in English, but was otherwise mostly attentive and friendly.
We also got a slice of cheesecake (which is the Asian kind, which is lighter and fluffier), which was just meh, but really filling. But whatever, I didn't come here for cake.
If I just want a drink, I'd definitely go to Green Grotto over Go For Tea!
