I was visiting Cleveland from Chicago. I'm a wannabe foodie so I follow Chef Michael Symon on Facebook and hang on to his every word. Don't judge. I'm also a coffee addict.
Anywho... he had mentioned one day his fave places to go to in C-town for coffee. Phoenix was one of the two. And conveniently, Phoenix was two minutes down the street from our hotel.
We went twice in the two days were there. The first time the baristas were crazy nice and we chatted about random things like my nail polish. When they realized we weren't from Cleveland (I asked for directions to the Rock Hall of Fame) they asked about Chicago and Milwaukee. One barista told me she loved us because I ordered something she doesn't get to make too often.
The next day we went with my cousins and also had scones, which looked like they were made on the premises. Tasted good too. My pumpkin latte was great!
All in all this place was comforting and inviting, the way a coffee shop should be!
