I really liked Maggie Moo's and was sad to see it was closing. However, I then found out that the same owners were re-opening the shop under their own name (Scoop n' Swirl) and were just separating from the Maggie Moo's franchise. I went for the first time since they changed over to an independent operation and the ice cream is still just as good. I was torn between the mint and coffee but coffee won out. It is very similar to Marble Slab Creamery or Cold Stone Creamery, where they put the ice cream on a cold slab and work in the mixings (sprinkles, chocolate chips, walnuts, etc.). Prices are pretty comparable to those places, as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Fort Mill or Tega Cay.
