  • Came into the restaurant and got sat right away. They brought waters while I waited for the rest of my table to arrive. Server was a younger gentleman and seemed very nice. We ordered apps, pretzel and spinach artichoke dip. Both were very good and came out hot. We then waited an unusual amount of time for our server to come take our entree order. We had to flag him down. We order our food and waited. Most of our food came out, except a salad two people at the table we splitting. The server said "the chicken they put on the salad was over cooked so I am having them remake the chicken." We were appreciative. Then we waited. 25 minutes later the salad came out and everybody else was done with there food. The server didn't come back in that time to explain why it was taking so long or apologize. When they finally started eating the salad, the chicken was COLD. How could it be, if they were recooking the chicken? We moved on and didn't say anything. The server mentioned how he would talk to his manager about how long it took. Two people order fish and chips - both were not cooked and were still doughy. When every was done eating we then waited for the check. The entire time we were waiting we could see the server and the manager talking behind the bar. The manager was on her phone the whole time. We started to get impatient and made eye contact with the server. The manager still never got off her phone. The check came. THEY GAVE US $5 DOLLARS OFF WHEN THE SALAD COST $12... needless to say we were not happy but once again moved on. We then sat there AGAIN and waited for the server to come pick up the check. It took so long a person from the table got up and walked it over to him. I guess his conversation with the manager (WHO WAS STILL ON HER PHONE) was more important. Being a server in the past we still tipped 18% of the bill. I understand the kitchen could really be having a rough time, but 25 minutes to cook a chicken breast? It was NOT busy at all. This night could have gone way better if the manager came over and talked to us or took the entire salad off the bill. BUT clearly her phone was more important. Let's just say we will NOT being going back here. I recommend only to go if you have plenty of time for people to wait on you and don't mind cold food.
