  • My friend referred me to this place because she said that they did a good job for her Medi/pedi. My guy and I went to get manicures on Saturday. When we walked in the people were very nice. They offered us a drink and asked what we needed to get done today. I had gel on my nails that they needed to remove and my guy has dirty nails because he's a mechanic. The two ladies that service us were nice but they seem to not get that certain things should be done for a manicure. My person that was serciving me put the acetone on my nails and wrap them for less than 2 minutes. Obviously you know this is not going to take gel polish off. So she starts filing them and the polish of course didn't all come off. I had to continuously tell her tjat there was still polish on my nails and before you can put more polish on there it needs to be removed. I had to take the file and do it myself since she clearly didn't get it. After I got my nails clear of gel. She started an arm massage. This was strange because normally people give a person a hand massage and it can go up to the arm. But I just got arm massage with lotion. aAfter she beat my arm up ahe begin polishing my nails again. The clear polish that she used was extremely thick and clumpy. My nails did not come out good. She didn't put any type of oil on my cuticles she didn't cut any of my hangnails. I'm very disappointed that I paid 20 bucks for someone that didn't know what they were doing. And there was no polish dryer or hand dryer available to dry my nails properly. My guy smells looked horrible. He had all type of hangnails his cuticles were pushed back and there were still a lot of dirt in his nails. Even though they did a bad job he still tip them very well (which I still can't understand.) Yesterday I noticed three of my nails had already chipped and today one more day. I have never had this horrible experience regarding a simple manicure. I think that since they give out free alcohol everything gets glazed over. I didn't indulge so, I was well aware of what was going on.
