  • Alright so this particular night and experience was a complete joke. I have been to Rawhide a bunch of times and have been coming to this venue for at least a decade. They had a special Holiday Beer and Wine Festival there this weekend. Purchased the tickets ahead of time, read all the fine print. Get to venue and $5 to park. Dont accept debit card or credit card for parking only cash (no signs about that anywhere and the event website mentioned nothing about additional cost for parking). So i ask what do you advise we do. He says, "drive down to the chevron and there is an atm". So go to the Chevron and NO atm. Long story short, i have never one time at Rawhide paid for parking. ..it has always been free. If you are going to advertise a special event then make sure to advise parking is extra because people who have come to this venue before would assume its free and people who have never been either 1. Dont carry cash and 2. Making me people drive to the chevron who dont know the area or are from out of town and just visiting to a place with no atm...very frustrating and a huge waste of time!
