I was so excited to write a review about this place because of how awesome it is! I can now say why it has such high ratings!
Compared to other small cafes/coffee shops that I've been to, this establishment occupies a pretty big space. Not what you'd expect from the outside. They are able to accommodate more people this way and it doesn't make you feel squished. lol Plenty of tables and seating all around. There is also a table and a few chairs outside, next to the entrance. It would be a nice lil place to study, even for study groups, since the CSN campus is close by.
They have great decor in the interior with plenty of inspirational words frames hanging on the walls. Each one being unique. Like the frames, all the tables and chairs are different too. I just love that idea in a cafe! It gives the feeling that the vintage decor and furniture were purchased from all over. Not having a unified theme as a theme. It gives this shop the stamp of a cafe's "classic look."
I met up with my siblings when I went to go try this place, and upon entering, we were promptly greeted. We were asked by the guy (didn't catch his name) at the front counter if it was our first time here. He informed us about what items are their most popular and made some suggestions. It's also pretty neat that some of the menu items have a Breaking Bad theme.
I ordered a Hazelnut Latte and it was delicious! The quality and freshness of the drink were excellent. I love the added latte art too! We also tried a few of the pastries like their cheese danish and blueberry muffin. All were very good. With such a friendly staff and quality coffee, I will be returning! :]
Pro-Tips:
-It may be tricky when trying to find this place. The plaza itself is very small and the shop sits at the very end of the row, hidden behind a gas station and auto service building.
