  • Ok, I'm gonna hope that my experience today was based on the person I got and not the whole salon. I scheduled an 1130 express pedi, needed to get in and out on my lunch break. The lady who did my pedi did a horrible job. First, just cutting my nails down was an issue. She clipped them and when I looked at them, they were going at angles. She said they'd be ok after she filed them. Once she started filing, she was so rough, I winced in pain and pulled my foot back. She tried to tell me I must have stubbed my toe and didn't remember, that's why it hurt. Uh, no, you're filing too hard! At this point, I'm not even thinking about my nails being level, I just wanted her to be gentle while filing. Then she proceeds to do the other clipping/trimming stuff. At this point, my toes are tingling! Next, she puts the finishing products on them and all the little knicks and cuts start burning. I'm thinking what the hell! Then a cell phone starts ringing in the back... She goes and answers it. I'm perturbed now, this was supposed to be an express pedi, mind you. She finally comes back, says sorry and continues with my feet. After she polishes the left foot, I notice a few of my nails have the Gumby cut (high on one side and low at the other end) and when I point them out she looks confused and said where? She finally notices and clips them down, saying because of the way she's sitting, she couldn't tell. I'm like lady, I've had plenty of pedis and have never had this issue and they all sit the same way you're sitting. Finally, she's finished polishing the right foot and I notice my big toe looks like I have a 3D effect going on. I pointed to it, telling her how sloppy it looks and again, she says where? Then she tried to use the small brush they use to clean up the edges. I'm like no, the whole nail is bad, look how the paint is running and bulging up. She's acting confused now. At this point, I've been here longer than I thought an "express pedi" would take so I told her don't even worry about it, I have to go. This is THEE sloppiest pedicure I've ever gotten and I'm really disappointed because the reviews were so great. Like I mentioned earlier, maybe it was just that one lady but she ruined it for all. I'm not coming here again.
