  • Being a big Sex and the City fan but living in Scottsdale, I'd only heard of Tasti D-Lite before this location opened up. I was excited to try it to see what the hype was all about. I love ice cream, but there's too much sugar/calories involved there...so any alternative is worth a shot. (For the record...this is NOT ice cream. FAR less sugar and calories, so it's much healthier. So come expecting an awesome frozen treat...NOT something that will taste just like high-sugar ice cream) My 2 daughters and I went in and the girls behind the counter were great at explaining how it all worked, and letting us sample all 6 flavors before we made up our minds. We each had a small of our chosen favorite of the night (3 of the 6 flavors change every day), and we all loaded it up with toppings (one of my daughters picked the Lucky Charm Marshmallows...how awesome is that!?) And the price? Just over $5....love it! (And Tuesdays are "free topping" day, as I recently learned. Even better!) The atmosphere is great, and my daughters and I officially have a new "Mommy-Daughter Date Place."
