My wife and I got married over the September 12th weekend and this was our preferred hotel for convenience / costs / etc. The rate they ended up giving us around 179 / night is comparable to most hotels in the area. Though we did have close to 18 rooms.
The rooms in this hotel need to be gutted - it's just tired. The tv's are small the furniture is not the good type of antique, rooms don't all come with fridges, the bathrooms leave much to be desired.
They upgraded us to a suite (great) though the only sweet about it was the size. Upon checking in I noticed the carpet rolling and was not really fit for my wedding night... I went to the desk and spoke to the manager who was quite accommodating expressing that this was the biggest room they had - to which I said, I don't need big just nice (not even great, just nice) - after a few minutes of punching the keys he gave me a room on a much higher floor - I checked in again and it was the exact same room layout with a nicer carpet.
It's impossible to have anyone at the front desk answer the phone - called a whole bunch - room service was ok
The brunch was also passable though way to expensive. All in all - find a nicer place to spend your 200 dollars - The location is great but the place should be rebuilt.
