  • Love Penzey's and appreciate their fine products. I've been able to take advantage of some of their recent promotions- really very good deals. After a less than stellar experience with a saleswoman at a Northern California store, I started using their online mail order service which has never failed me. Still, I felt like I was missing out somehow, I needed some inspiration that I could only get from seeing and smelling the products, and taking in all the posssibities to great eating that their inventory represented. While visiting family in Arizona, I learned that I could find a Penzey's store in Tempe, Arizona, not far from wher we were headed. What a delight it was to walk through the door- the scent alone worth the trip! 90 minutes later, My basket held over $50 dollars worth of spices that I didn't even know I needed- and I don't regret one cent spent because this will kick my cooking up a notch or two, always a plus with my gang. I will happily continue to seek out Penzey's stores when I travel but feel confident with their mail order service should I need to supplement the pantry between trips. We are spoiled I have to admit, you just can't beat Penzey's for freshness or quality.
