Came here on a Sunday at 2 pm. There was one party in front of us waiting in line. We were waiting about 4 min for a restaurant that wasn't really full. Maybe because the hostess was by herself and sat people in the back of the restaurant. I was starving and thirsty so I noticed this a lot more. We were seated and had our waitress come up and give us menus. Another woman came by and took our drink orders. She seemed nice and helpful. Our waitress was a bit standoffish and seemed grumpy. I ordered the saimin because it reminded me of home and I haven't had it for a while because I live in South Carolina. The saimin was a huge amount for the cheap price. It didn't have much flavor to the broth so I added a lot of shoyu and mustard. It came with wontons in it that wasn't mentioned on the menu because I figured you would only get them if you ordered the wonton min. It could have been better but it was just got enough to settle my craving for Hawaii food. I wish Their laulau special was on Sunday instead of Thursday. That would have been a better treat. Overall a good restaurant for the price. The service was ok but could have been better. And the saimin needed a bit more flavor.
