| - Micah, the estimator, got the opportunity to come out and speak with me about the project, due to his professionalism and capability in answering my questions patiently and gladly. (I need lots of info to make decisions.)
I had called another company and spoken to the owner, and on the back of that conversation decided not to even have them out to estimate.
Troy, the painter, (and his helper) did a VERY good job. Beautiful coverage, crisp lines, clean edges, no spills or over sprays...a very high quality result. (I spent almost two decades as a professional muralist, so I know more than just a little bit about painting and painters.)
(I had a large plant on my front yard, that needed to be moved off, and then back on, the porch, once painting was completed, and I happened to catch the helper complaining about having to move it, as I came around the corner - Troy counseled him that it was their job to accomplish those tasks, just as he might need to move a large TV if they were indoors. This is the mark of high quality employees, who take care of customers even when no one is standing over their shoulders requiring them to do so. And that is also a mark of character, which seems so sadly lacking these days.
And finally, Brian the owner, was responsive and careful even though we had some difficulty in the beginning with weather and needing to reschedule. It seemed he was always working on my behalf to get the job done despite the somewhat long delays. On the day, Micah the estimator came by with homemade breakfasts for the boys that he said Brian had cooked. These are the things that I notice, and am glad I am doing business with people who still care about their work, their reputations, and very importantly their employees.
I would completely recommend them!!.
